Galleries at Centre Street (West Roxbury, MA), a volunteer organization, is a new arts and business partnership that creates exhibition space in the heart of the business district of West Roxbury, a neighborhood of Boston. The organization�s mission is to promote the arts in the community for the benefit of artists, residents and businesses; to support and serve the needs of emerging and experienced artists by providing business-sponsored exhibition opportunities without fees or commissions; and to collaborate with local educational institutions and other organizations/businesses that share this mission. Galleries at Centre Street announce a call for submissions to its upcoming Winter Art Festival, to be held December, 2004-January, 2005. Send 5 or more color slides/prints of recent work with dimensions, along with a 1-page artist�s statement that includes name, contact information, description of work, and SASE.
